Chikkamaguluru WCD Recruitment 2021: Invitation to apply for the posts of Anganwadi Worker and Assistant
Eligible women candidates are invited to apply online for the vacant posts of 27 Anganwadi Workers and 60 Assistants in the Anganwadi Centers of 7 Child Development Schemes functioning under the Department of Women and Child Development, Chikmagalur District.
The posts are vacant in Chikmagalur district and women candidates are invited to apply. Interested persons can apply online by September 6,2021. Read on to know more about the candidates vacancies.
Qualification:
Candidates applying for the post of Anganwadi Worker should have at least 4th class and maximum 9th class pass for SSLC qualification and Anganwadi Assistant posts.
Age range:
Must be between 18 and a maximum of 35 years of age as of August 31,2021. There is an age relaxation of 10 years only for disabled candidates.
Choice preference:
Candidates who wish to take preference as follows must have the specified qualifications and be of age and local.
Selection of Acid Attack:
If women who have been subjected to acid attack have applied for the post of Anganwadi Worker / Assistant, they should be selected directly on the first priority without considering all other accepted applications.
Residents' preference for departmental institutions:
Second Preference for Current / Ex-Residents Sheltered in Departmental Institutions / State Women's Hostels under the Juvenile Justice Act.
Preference for widows:
First preference will be given to the wife of a farmer who has committed suicide among widows. Other widows will then be considered. Widows will not be considered after applying. The place where the widow submits the proof of residence as to where she resides will be considered as her residence. If more than one widow has applied for the same post, the maximum scorer will be selected.
Preference for disabled candidates:
The Anganwadi worker is imparting pre-school education to children between the ages of 3 and 6 through play and performance songs, which are required to hold and stop children during activities. Circle meeting, mothers meeting and home visits need to be conducted. Deaf, dumb, demented, mentally ill, worker are not eligible for the post due to own. Only candidates with other physical disabilities not exceeding 60% and capable of pursuing preschool education should apply. A certificate obtained from the competent authority in this regard should be attached. The place where the disabled person presents the proof of residence where they currently reside will be considered as their residence. The Selection Committee shall have the power to reconsider the degree of disability of the disabled candidates in case of doubt. If more than one disabled person applies for the same post, the maximum scorer will be selected.
Application Fee:
Candidates applying for these posts are not required to pay any application fee.

Candidates who want to join the posts of Anganwadi Worker and Assistant can apply online by going to the official website https://anganwadirecruit.kar.nic.in/ and then filling the information requested for the posts by 5:30 pm on September 6, 2021.
Candidates can apply online only and there is no opportunity to submit applications in person or separately by post. Such applications will not be considered if submitted anyway.
