Eligibility: The applicant is a diploma, BE and B.Tech degree from a government recognized university. Preferred 4 years experience in Civil Engineering, 2 years after graduation, or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
In addition, knowledge of the Mining Surveyor, knowledge of AutoCAD, preference for those with local language knowledge.
Salary Profile: 40,000 to 50,000 / - per month.

Age limit: Maximum age 35 years (as on June 30, 2021)
Backward class candidates are exempted for 3 years and SC and ST candidates up to 5 years.

KIOCL: Ore mining took place in the Kudremukh in the Western Ghats range. Mining ore was transported through the 110 km pipeline through the Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts to the port of Panambur near New Mangalore. The mining lease was awarded to KIOCL for 25 years and was to be closed by December 2001. Karnataka government has given permission for mining in Bellary in 2017. Mining has been allowed in Devadri area of Bellary. After December 2005, KIOCL was once again the face of mining.
