New Delhi: Chief financial adviser KV Subramanian said on Friday that he has decided to return to his academy after completing three years in the finance ministry.

Subramanian, who is an ISB professor in Hyderabad, was appointed chief financial advisor in December 2018. Subramanian has been appointed by the government to a position vacated by Arvind Subramanian.

Subramanian thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for their inspiring leadership and support. They have decided to return to the academy after completing their three-year term.
