The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold the SSC CHSL 2023 exam at the national level to select candidates for a variety of positions, including Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant (PA/SA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO), in various Ministries, Departments, Offices, and Tribunals of the Government of India.

The SSC CHSL 2023 online application period opened on May 9 and will close on June 814. Candidates can submit their applications online at ssc.nic.in by paying a Rs. 100 application fee. The date for the Tier-II test will be announced later, with the Tier-I exam taking place in August 2023.

The following are the requirements for SSC CHSL 2023:

Candidates must have graduated from a recognized university or board with a grade of at least a 12th standard.

Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 27 as of January 1, 2023.

Three stages make up the SSC CHSL 2023 selection process:

Tire - I English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness are the four components of the Tier-I objective type test, which is computer-based. Each segment consists of 25 questions and is worth 50 points. The test lasts for an hour in total. For each incorrect response, 0.50 marks are deducted from the final score.

Tier-II: A descriptive paper in English or Hindi that consists of a 200–250 word essay and a 150–200 word letter or application. The paper must be completed in one hour and carries 100 marks. The required passing percentage is 33% 1%.

Tier-III: A typing exam or skill test for the DEO and LDC/JSA positions, respectively. On a computer, you must enter data at a rate of 8,000 key presses per hour to pass the competence test. On a computer, you must type at a pace of 35 words per minute for English or 30 words per minute for Hindi to pass the typing exam.

The pay scale for SSC CHSL 2023 positions is as follows:

Pay Level 2 (Rs. 19,900–63,200) for LDCs and JSAs

Pay Level-4 ($25,500–81,100) and Level-5 ($29,200–92,300) for DEO positions

Pay Level 4 (Rs. 25,500–81,100) for PA/SA12
