ಯೂನಿಯನ್ ಪಬ್ಲಿಕ್ ಸರ್ವಿಸ್ ಕಮಿಷನ್ (UPSC) ನಾಗರಿಕ ಸೇವೆಗಳ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯು ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೂನಿಯನ್ ಪಬ್ಲಿಕ್ ಸರ್ವಿಸ್ ಕಮಿಷನ್ (UPSC) ನಡೆಸುವ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾತ್ಮಕ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಭಾರತೀಯ ಆಡಳಿತ ಸೇವೆ (IAS), ಭಾರತೀಯ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಸೇವೆ (IPS), ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಿದೇಶಾಂಗ ಸೇವೆ (IFS) ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವಿವಿಧ ನಾಗರಿಕ ಸೇವೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಲು ವಾರ್ಷಿಕವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯು ಮೂರು ಹಂತಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ:

1.ಪೂರ್ವಭಾವಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ: (ಸಿವಿಲ್ ಸರ್ವೀಸಸ್ ಆಪ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಡ್ ಟೆಸ್ಟ್ ಅಥವಾ CSAT ಎಂದೂ ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ): ಪ್ರತಿ 200 ಅಂಕಗಳ ಎರಡು ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಬಹು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಆಧಾರಿತ ವಸ್ತುನಿಷ್ಠ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ.

2.ಮುಖ್ಯ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ: ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ (ಪ್ರಬಂಧ) ಪ್ರಕಾರದ ಒಂಬತ್ತು ಪೇಪರ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಲಿಖಿತ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ, ಭಾರತೀಯ ಪರಂಪರೆ, ಕರೆಂಟ್ ಅಫೇರ್ಸ್, ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಯ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯ ಐಚ್ಛಿಕ ವಿಷಯಕ್ಕೆ ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟವಾದ ಇತರ ವಿಷಯಗಳಂತಹ ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.

3.ಪರ್ಸನಾಲಿಟಿ ಟೆಸ್ಟ್ (ಸಂದರ್ಶನ): ಮುಖ್ಯ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೇರ್ಗಡೆಯಾದ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಇದು ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ಅಂತಿಮ ಹಂತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಂದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ತಜ್ಞರ ಸಮಿತಿಯು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವ, ನಾಯಕತ್ವದ ಗುಣಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂವಹನ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸುವ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.

UPSC EXAM

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination is a prestigious and highly competitive national level examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in India. It is held annually to select candidates for various Civil Services of the Government of India, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS), among others.

The examination process consists of three stages:

1.Preliminary Examination : (also known as the Civil Services Aptitude Test or CSAT): A multiple choice based objective test consisting of two papers of 200 marks each.

2.Main Examination: A written examination consisting of nine papers of conventional (essay) type, covering various subjects like Indian Heritage, Current Affairs, English, and other subjects specific to the candidate's chosen optional subject.

3.Personality Test (Interview): Candidates who clear the Main Examination are called for an interview, which is the final stage of the examination. The interview is conducted by a panel of experts and aims to assess the candidate's personality, leadership qualities, and communication skills.

The UPSC Civil Services Examination is considered one of the toughest and most competitive examinations in the country and attracts a large number of aspirants from all over India.
